Data controller: Digital Wave Music, operated by RamΓ³n ArΓ©valos
We're a small store and we collect the minimum needed to deliver your music.
Here's all of it, no fine print.
01 What we collect
- Your email address, provided to us by Stripe when you complete a purchase. We use it to send your download links.
- The songs you bought and the amount paid.
- Your IP address and browser, recorded at purchase and at each download.
- Dates of purchase, expiry, and download.
- If you arrive by scanning one of our QR codes, we log the scan: which code it was, the date, your browser, and your IP address as a hash (an irreversible code from which the original IP cannot be recovered).
What we do NOT collect: your name, address, phone number, or any
card details. We don't require registration and we don't create user accounts.
02 How we use it
- Your email: to send your download links and to reply if you write to us about a problem.
- IP and browser: solely as a security measure, to detect misuse of download links and enforce the limit of 3 downloads per file.
- Purchase history: to deliver your music and help you if something goes wrong.
- QR code scans: only to know how many people arrive through each code, and to avoid counting the same person twice. We do not identify anyone or track your browsing across the site.
We don't send you marketing. You'll only receive the email for your
purchase, and replies if you contact us.
03 Who we share it with
- Stripe processes payments. They handle your card data under their own policies, and we never see or store it. Read their notice at stripe.com/privacy.
- Our hosting provider, which stores the database and sends your purchase email.
- Google Fonts, to load the site's typefaces. This means your browser connects to Google servers when you visit.
- Nobody else. We do not sell, rent, or trade your data.
04 Storage in your browser
- We store your cart contents and whether you've accepted the terms in your own browser (localStorage).
- That information never leaves your device and we cannot read it from the server.
- You can clear it at any time by clearing site data in your browser.
05 How long we keep it
- Purchase records are kept as long as needed to handle support questions, payment disputes, and accounting obligations.
- Download links stop working after 48 hours.
- You can ask us to delete your data at any time, except what we're required to keep by law.
06 Your rights
- You can request a copy of the data we hold about you.
- You can ask us to correct or delete it.
- We do not sell personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of in that respect.
- Email radionetchicagopreguntas@gmail.com and we'll respond as soon as we can.
07 Security, minors, and changes
- The store runs over an encrypted connection (HTTPS), and music files are stored outside the server's public directory.
- No system is perfect. If an incident affecting your data occurred, we would notify you at your purchase email.
- The store is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
- If we update this policy, the version in effect is always the one published here, with its date.
